Three years ago, we started to see friends working in toxic environments, who were disengaged at work, often suffering from burnout or exhaustion. Whether a result of an increasing amount of pressure or tighter regulations, it seemed that the focus on the human side of the business was dwindling by day. We started to see leaders with agendas so busy that they could no longer address the issues that really mattered.
